Herbology is the art and study of herbs. Herbalism is truly an art, it is a deep seeded ancestral knowledge that lies dormant in each of us.
With the newly opening herb cabin at A Simpler Thyme ltd., I will be offering classes, workshops, herbal walk & talks, seminars and private consultations.

Depending on which direction you may be coming from…. GPS does not always find the “best” route to bring you to us.
However; if you are coming from the Columbus or Coshocton area, it is best to take US 36 to CR 10 – turn left from 36 onto CR 10 you will see a KOA Campground sign- go approx. 5-6 miles and turn left on to Township Road 186 – this is our road (you will see a sign for A Simpler Thyme) we are 1 mile ahead (dirt road) on the left – red barn – log house up long driveway. Signs are posted.
If you are coming from the New Philadelphia or Cambridge areas off of 77 thru Newcomerstown on US 36 – stay on 36 past Ravens Glenn Winery to the traffic light at US 36 and SR 93 – turn right on to SR 93 N toward Fresno – go approx. 3 miles – turn left on to CR 171 just over the R/R tracks (there will be 2 sets of R/R tracks) you will see the old school house which is now White Eyes Fuel & Carryout – stay straight for about 3 more miles – at the stop sign stay straight – paved road turns to dirt – this is our road TR 186 – there is a Simpler Thyme sign – continue straight 1 mile our driveway is on the left – red barn, white horse , log house up on hill with long driveway.

Our Heavenly Father put everything that our body could possibly need right here in front of us, such as: herbs, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, trees, water, fresh air and sunshine. All of these components contain every essential property to nurture our body, mind and spirit. It is our responsibility to utilize these gifts and draw from them the knowledge to better ourselves, our loved ones and the world.
At A Simpler Thyme ltd. that is exactly what I am here to do! Being a Master Herbalist I have studied, appreciated and used herbs for decades. It is my hope and desire to guide you on a personal journey to help reconnect your “inner herbalist” with all of these God given gifts. While you experience nature and sample my offerings I hope that I can enlighten, educate and answer your herbal inquires to develop and expand your herbal horizons, thus, ultimately directing you to a healthier, alternative way of living.
